Course Name:
Handgun Fundamentals, Level 101

Course Description:
This course is designed for individuals who are already somewhat familiar with handguns and would like to build off the basic handgun skills and fundamentals taught in our entry level course. Through a series of hands-on and live-fire exercises, this class will reinforce proper manipulation and shooting techniques of a semi-automatic handgun. You will receive instruction from different instructors during the course, giving you the most personalized experience possible, to suit your individual shooting needs. If you simply want to get better at shooting this is the class for you.

Course Cost:
3 Hours - $200 per person

What You Will Learn/ Topics Covered:

• Firearms safety
• In depth focus of the fundamentals of marksmanship
• Mastering trigger control and follow through
• Stance/ grip techniques and how it pertains to shooting well
• Diagnosing poor shooting and how to fix it
• Dry-fire practice and how to perform it safely and effectively
• Ways to practice on the range and at home to become even better

Gear Requirements:
We will provide 9mm handguns, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and targets for completion of this course.
You are welcome to bring your own semi-automatic handgun to class. If your handgun is not a 9mm, please bring your own brass-cased and copper-jacketed ammunition for use through your firearm.

Participation Requirements:

• Participants must be US Citizens or an Immigrant Green Card holder/ Permanent Resident – NO EXCEPTIONS
  • IMPORTANT: DUE TO THE SUBJECT MATTER TAUGHT IN THIS CLASS, WE CANNOT PROVIDE ANY TRAINING OR ASSISTANCE IN TRAINING TO FOREIGN NATIONALS DUE TO INFORMATION FROM THE U.S. GOVERNMENT (U.S. DEPARTMENT OFSTATE, ITAR) REGARDING REGULATIONS PERTINENT TO FOREIGN CITIZENS AND ARMS TRAINING
• All participants must be 13 years of age or older (any student younger than 18 must be accompanied by their parent, or legal guardian, who is also enrolled in the class)
• A positive attitude that is conducive to the learning environment
• All participants must be able to speak and understand English fluently and without the assistance of a translator
• Women who are pregnant will not be allowed to attend any of our shooting courses as the percussive noise and lead exposure can be dangerous to the baby's health
